As parents, the safety of our child is very critical. The most important step is to childproofing our home for the child to enjoy and roam around since they have started crawling, or walking and are very curious to the things around them. They would like to touch, feel, eat, and bump their heads to the surrounding they have started to experience. The best activity each child enjoys doing is to go and open each cabinet, drawers, and appliances like the refrigerator and take out from each of them. The trash bin, the household chemicals and the medicine cabinet is another safety hazard. They can do this all day. Obviously not only it is dangerous, but causes extra work for the parents. But we can easily avoid these problems by taking some easy steps, and placing the child locks in various locations around the house or nursery. Perfect for Renters!
The baby locks are manufactured without the use of non-toxic chemicals. The certifications of EN71 and ROHS proved it to us. Highly recommended by the Manufacturer to allow Adhesive to dry between 24 to 48 hours before usage.

The locks come pre-taped with industrial grade 3M adhesive. Simply peel tape backing and install in seconds.
They have a foam adhesive sticker they attach with, which is a better adhesive. Please use dental floss on the back of the lock base and cut through the mount. It leaves a residue that would be easily scraped off by using a hair dryer, or Goo Gone solution, or rubbing your fingers. It might damage some antique delicate furniture.
There is a slight chance of paint peeling off. However, if you follow the instructions on the packaging it might work out great.
They can be installed on glass, wood, aluminium, plastic or vinyl
Old oven doors heat up with the oven is on. New oven doors do not do that - they are cool to the touch when the oven is on. If you have an older oven, and when the oven is on the door is hot, then these will not work for your oven. If you have a newer oven where the door stays cool even at broiling - then they should work.
No they do not leave a mark since the adhesive is PE foam type, which is easy to remove without causing any damage to the surface
Yes it works great on a toilet. Please make sure to avoid any kind of water going on the adhesive.
